FROM
PHILADELPHIA and eastern Pennsylvania
Turnpike to
Harrisburg East exit, north on I-283 to I-83 south towards
Harrisburg. Use Capitol, Second Street exit to Forster. on
Forster to Third Street. We’re in that first block across
from the State Museum. An alternate way from Lancaster is to
use State Road 283 towards Harrisburg, then connect with
I-283 per above.

FROM ALLENTOWN
and northeastern Pennsylvania
I-78 west until it dead ends at I-81. Take I-81 south to
Front Street exit (Last one before Susquehanna River and third Harrisburg
exit). Go south on Front Street to
Forster Street (approximately four miles), left to Third Street, across from

FROM SCRANTON
and northern Pennsylvania
Take I-81 and follow directions above.

FROM STATE COLLEGE and northwestern
Pennsylvania
North and west of State College: Take I-80 to
the second Clearfield exit, then double back on State
Road 879 to US 322. US 322 will take you into north
Harrisburg to I-81 south towards Carlisle. Next exit
going west is Front Street. Take Front Street south to
Forster, left on Forster to Third Street. We are across
from the State Museum.

FROM PITTSBURGH and western
Pennsylvania
Turnpike east to Carlisle exit…Route 11
approximately one mile, then north on I-81 towards
Harrisburg, taking the Front Street exit per above. An
alternative is to use US 15 through Camp Hill via the Camp
Hill Bypass across the Susquehanna River to Third Street,
right on Third Street across from the State Museum.

FROM MARYLAND and south central Pennsylvania
Using I-83 from York, take the right turn at the
intersection with State Road 581 (also still I-83 north).
First exit across the Susquehanna River is Second
Street/Capitol. Go north through downtown Harrisburg to
Forster Street, right on Third Street across from the State
Museum.
